Mr. El Fayoumi is an economist with vast experience in trade remedies. He is the ex director of the Egyptian Trade Remedies Body which he managed from 2007-2011.
During his career as the head of the Trade Remedy Body, he administered numerous anti-dumping, countervailing measures, and safeguards investigations. He also represented Egypt at the relevant WTO committees and headed Egypt delegations in dispute settlement negotiations with affected countries.
Mr. El Fayoumi has thorough experience in trade remedy investigations and proceedings in Egypt and is also a professional lecturer on Trade Remedies especially dumping calculations. He also trained staff of several competent authorities in the region such as Sudan, Kuwait, and Morocco.
