Her research focuses on sustainable development, trade remedies, trade policies, food security, climate change, health policies, and sovereign wealth fund investments. Dr. El-Sholkamy has published extensively in top-ranking journals, including the International Journal of Management and Applied Sciences, Journal of Business and Economics, and Cambridge University Press. She currently chairs the FAO-Regional Network of Experts and consults with the World Bank on cost-benefit analysis projects.
