Turkey Set to Examine Anti-Circumvention Concerning Polyurethane Leather Exported from UAE, Italy, and Egypt

Yesterday, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade ("Authority") launched an anti-circumvention investigation on artificial leather originating in UAE, Italy, and Egypt. The product under investigation falls under CN Code 5903.20.
The Authority will assess whether Chinese manufacturers are avoiding existing anti-dumping duties on Chinese imports of polyurethane leather by re-routing their exports through other countries (UAE, Italy, Egypt).
Interested parties and stakeholders are invited to participate in the investigation by 1 October.
