Certain stainless-steel products originating in Egypt, Japan, and Vietnam Have Been Subjected to Temporary Anti-Dumping Duties Imposed by the EU Commission.

The EU Commission (EC) applied provisional anti-dumping duties on hot rolled-coils from Egypt, Japan and Vietnam.

Egyptian manufacturers including Ezz Steel are subject to a provisional duty rate of 12.8%.

The duties entered into force on 8 April 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum of 6 months. 

GCC – TSAIP Imposed Anti-Dumping Definitive Measures on Imports of Aluminum Alloys from China

The Bureau of Technical Secretariat Office for Anti-Injurious Practices in International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council (TSAIP) imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on painted and/or coated, flattened or grained aluminium alloys plates, sheets, strips or coils of a thickness between 0.2 mm and 8 mm (rectangular or square in shape).

Is Dumping still Recurring? GCC-TSAIP Launched Sunset Review of Anti-Dumping Duties on Imports of Hydraulic Cement Originating in Iran

On 16 March 2025, the Bureau of Technical Secretariat Office for Anti-Injurious Practices in International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council (TSAIP) initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of hydraulic cement originating in Iran.

The product under review is hydraulic cement in its all forms and colors, including clinker, which is classified under HS code 2523.

Stakeholders and interested parties across GCC member states are invited to file their submissions by 04 May 2025.

Call to Action: GCC-TSAIP Initiated Sunset Review on Imports of Ceramic and Porcelain Tiles Exported from India and China

The Bureau of Technical Secretariat Office for Anti-Injurious Practices in International Trade of the Gulf Cooperation Council (TSAIP) launched a final review of the anti-dumping duties imposed on ceramic flags and paving, hearth or wall tiles classified under HS code 6907, excluding products classified under HS code 69073000.

Affected parties and stakeholders across the GCC member states are welcome to submit their comments by 21 April 2025.
