Turkey Opens Anti-Dumping Probe into Glassware Imports from China and Egypt

Today, following a petition filed by Turkish glassware producers, the Turkish Ministry of Trade has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into certain glassware products classified under HS Code 70.13 excluding ornamental glass and glass containers classified under headings 70.10 and 70.18.

Domestic manufacturers have experienced a shift in consumer behavior toward imported glassware, sold at a lower price than Turkish glassware, which will negatively affect the Turkish economy.

Interested parties who would like to take part in the investigation shall make themselves known within 37 days of the initiation of the investigation.
