Saudi Arabia Initiates Anti-Dumping Investigation Against Stainless Steel Pipe Imports from China and Taiwan

Riyadh-In a significant move to protect Saudi industries industries, the General Authority for Foreign Trade (GAFT) in Saudi Arabia has announced initiating an anti-dumping investigation. This probe targets the imports of stainless steel pipes with circular welded sections, longitudinally welded, originating from or exported by the People's Republic of China and Taiwan.

This investigation stems from powers vested in the Governor of the GAFT under paragraph (3) of Article 4 of the International Trade Commercial Remedies System, which was enacted by Royal Decree No. (M/60) on November 23, 2022.

GAFT urged all interested parties to engage actively in the investigation process to ensure a comprehensive assessment of these imports' impact on the Saudi industry. This move reflects Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to safeguarding its economic interests against unfair international trade practices.
