Baha’a highlighted trade remedies practice in the Gulf Cooperation Council being relatively the newest jurisdiction in the middle east region to use trade remedy tools to protect local industries from “faulty” imports, especially after the adoption of economic diversification policies which gave growing importance and attention to the protection of GCC’s domestic industries in various sectors.
